Iot Technologies In School Activities: Teachers’ Perceptions About A Prototype

The use of IoT technologies in educational scenarios has been discussed and tested by different researchers and in different contexts. Despite different approaches, there seems to be a consensus regarding its transformative potential, especially when we think about the concept of hypersituation. This paper presents the results relating to the teachers’ perception of an IoT prototype device developed to be a didactical. The results show that although the teachers did not feel comfortable handling the prototype, they agreed that it could be an added value for teaching. They also stated that they would like the school to acquire these devices so that they could use them in the classroom.
