Rfid Application For Attendance Control In Scientific Events
Attendance control system is focused on providing a sustainable and technological solution to register attendance at scientific events at higher education institutions. For this purpose of registration of participation, the developed system is guided by radio frequency identification, also known by the acronym RFID. To carry out this identification, it is necessary to process the capture from the receiving radiofrequency antenna, as well as a converter to decode this reading. In this way, the RFID is read, this information travels through the WebSocket server, where the data obtained are processed and saved within the database, which will be used to generate confirmations of presence and participation history in the established activities of a certain event. This article presents a functional structure for attendance control, in addition to the search and storage of data, making it possible to facilitate the process of registration and certification of attendance. The attendance control system proved to be efficient in controlling and recording the flow of participants in an event by RFID, managing to work with multiple devices, so a future improvement work was defined, an application for the system and adding facial detection with double validation.
