Digital Transformation In The Public Sector: Preliminary Results of A Tertiary Literature Review
Digital Transformation (DT) applied in the public sector has gained significant attention in academic research in recent years. However, identifying relevant studies and developing a general understanding of what is happening in the field takes a lot of work for researchers and practitioners given the amount of studies and literature reviews available. Thus, this article presents a tertiary study that represents state of the art regarding this phenomenon. In this context, 33 secondary studies were identified, through which it was possible to answer some questions about how the DT application process occurs and the necessary resources; what are the transformed sectors; and the benefits brought. In addition, we present seven suggestions for future research.
