Vulnerabilities In Internet of Things Systems

The IoT (internet of things) is a system of electronic de- vices that are connected, with the ability to transfer information between them. It is important to ensure the safety of equipment and processes. Furthermore, consumers need to understand the risks they are exposed to when implementing IoT technology. The most representative risk is cybersecurity, which refers to the protection of the confidentiality, in- tegrity or availability of information. This paper shows the results of a research project in order to identify the threats and weaknesses, the de- sign characteristics in the devices and the definition of risks used in the information security of the technology.
