Wimax Wireless Network: An Opportunity For Rural Or Remote Cities

The purpose of the article is to show the development of the design of the wireless network with WiMax technology, to provide a solution to the lack of internet signal in rural or remote communities, for this case, we want to get on the interconnection of a wireless internet net- work, to be taken to the village of Chacua in the municipality of Soacha - Cundinamarca. A design will be made on a simulation software with a solution to the real situation, on the model of point-to-point interconnection for the rural environment and the evaluation and feasibility of this, on the interconnection with WiMax technology to be used for the solution of the real need will be derived.
