Training Computational Thinking To Leverage Citizens of Next Generation

The world is constantly changing and the problems and challenges we encounter today concerning the work eco-system or concerning in personal life may not be the same in the future. Today's students are the next generation of people who will be exposed to these new problems. So, it is urgent that these students acquire knowledge, skills, and the ability to solve problems, to successfully overcome the evolution challenges. We argue that Computational Thinking (CT) can help students develop skills deemed necessary for citizens of next generation. For this, we built a web platform called Computational Thinking 4 All, which will be the workbench of any teacher who wants to prepare his students to acquire Computational Thinking skills. Computational Thinking 4 All contains a repository of Learning Resources -- LaRaCiTa. These Learning Resources will allow students to develop CT skills. This article presents these two artefacts, the platform and the repository, as a solution to help teachers develop CT skills in their students, and consequently help them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for citizens of the next generation.
