Comparative Study Between The Front-End Web Development Frameworks Angular and React, Taking Into Account Developers' Opinions

With the evolution of web pages, their development gradually becomes more complex, making the use of Javascript and its frameworks and libraries increasingly essential. A large number of options available can cause the developer to be confused about which one is best suited to their needs and in which aspects each one works best. This work aims to provide a better view of these tools and their characteristics, to help in the formation of opinions about them, using the two most popular ones, Angular and React, as a basis. Through the development of simple applications and comparative analysis of effort, lines of code, execution time and memory usage performance metrics. Interesting points were analyzed that show the strengths of each. By collecting the opinion of developers, that have experience in the area, concerning the metrics studied, it was possible to get a sense of their real impact. React was the one that demonstrated the best performance data by both metrics and developers.
