Effect of Virtual Learning Environments On Interpersonal Skills In Bachelor of Business Administration Students.

Due to the health contingency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it was necessary to accelerate the use of technological platforms to continue with the distance education processes at all educational levels, such is the case of the Faculty of Accounting and Administration of the Autonomous University of Baja California, Tijuana campus, therefore the objective of this research is to know the challenges that the adoption of Virtual Learning Environments represents for students and its effect on the development of interpersonal socioemotional skills. The study reflects a correlational analysis to measure the impact between the independent variable (use of virtual learning environments LMS) and the dependent variable (interpersonal skills). The study subject integrates students of the bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BA).

The methodology applied by means of a Structural Equation Model establishes and evaluates the degree of association between the exogenous variable (use of virtual learning environments -LMS-) and the endogenous variable (interpersonal skills -IH-). The data processing is executed with the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) software, which offers the construction and validation with a modeling that identifies, specifies, estimates parameters of evaluation of adjustment and specification of the investigative modeling, the results establish the relationship between the two fundamental constructs LMS and its impact on IH; where it can be sustained that the degree of association between variables is high; since its covariance is established in .75. In this way, it is suggested that the impact is considerably significant at 75%.
