Agent Team Management Using Distributed Ledger Technology

The notion of Multi-Agent System has turned out to be an appropriate modeling paradigm in dynamic application domains where adaptation and reconfiguration is required at runtime due to changing execution contexts. We present a comprehen-sive solution for the management of agent teams in highly dynamic environments. The main contribution is to demonstrate how Distributed Ledger technology can effectively support the organizational team management in a decentralized and self-organized manner. Our implementation builds on an extended Hyperledger Sawtooth framework. Our work has shown that the concepts of Multi-Agent System and Distributed Ledger represent an ideal combination.
